This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which Artalyx provides refunds for subscription purchases. By purchasing a subscription to Artalyx, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. General Refund Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with Artalyx. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new purchases to ensure you have adequate time to evaluate whether the Software meets your needs.
2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
2.1 Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You purchased a new Artalyx subscription within the last 30 days
- This is your first purchase of Artalyx (not a renewal)
- You have not previously received a refund for Artalyx
- You request the refund within 30 days of your original purchase date
2.2 How to Request
To request a refund under our 30-day guarantee:
- Email info@artalyx.app with the subject line “Refund Request”
- Include your license key or account email address
- Briefly explain why you’re requesting a refund (optional but appreciated for our improvement)
- We will process your request within 5-7 business days
2.3 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.
3. Renewals and Subsequent Purchases
3.1 No Refunds on Renewals
Subscription renewals are not eligible for refunds. You are responsible for managing your subscription and canceling before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
3.2 Renewal Notifications
We will send email notifications prior to your renewal date to remind you of upcoming charges. Please ensure your email address is current in your account settings.
3.3 Canceling to Avoid Renewal
To avoid being charged for renewal:
- Cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your renewal date

- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You will retain access to the Software until your current subscription expires
4. Upgrade and Downgrade Refunds
4.1 Upgrades
When you upgrade from a lower tier to a higher tier:
- You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing period
- No refund is provided for the unused portion of your previous tier
- The upgrade takes effect immediately
4.2 Downgrades
When you downgrade from a higher tier to a lower tier:
- The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No refund is provided for the unused portion of your current tier
- You retain access to your current tier features until the billing period ends
5. Technical Issues
5.1 Software Defects
If you experience technical issues that prevent the Software from functioning as documented:
- Contact our support team at info@artalyx.app immediately
- Provide detailed information about the issue, including error messages and screenshots
- Allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue (typically 7-14 days)
- If we cannot resolve the issue, a refund may be provided at our discretion
5.2 Compatibility Issues
Refunds for compatibility issues are handled on a case-by-case basis:
- If the Software is incompatible with supported WordPress versions, we will issue a refund
- If the issue is caused by third-party plugins, themes, or hosting configurations, refunds are not guaranteed
- We recommend testing the Software during the 30-day guarantee period to ensure compatibility
6. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
6.1 Discretionary Refunds
Outside of the 30-day guarantee period, refunds may be provided at our sole discretion for:
- Exceptional circumstances beyond your control
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Service outages that significantly impact usability
6.3 Fraudulent Purchases
If we determine a purchase was made fraudulently or in violation of our Terms of Service, we reserve the right to:
- Deny refund requests
- Terminate the license immediately
- Report fraudulent activity to appropriate authorities
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are NOT eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- Subscription renewals (unless required by law)
- Custom development or consulting services
- Third-party service fees (Stripe processing fees, etc.)
- Licenses purchased more than 30 days ago
- Second or subsequent purchases after receiving a previous refund
- Licenses for which violations of the EULA or Terms of Service have occurred
8. Effect of Refund
When a refund is processed:
- Your license key is immediately deactivated
- You lose access to software updates and support
- You must uninstall the Software from all WordPress installations
- Your account may be closed (at our discretion)
- Your content remains on your server (we do not access or delete it)
- You may not reactivate the Software with the same license key
9. Refund Abuse
We reserve the right to deny refund requests if we detect abuse of our refund policy, including but not limited to:
- Repeated purchase and refund cycles
- Using the Software extensively before requesting a refund
- Making false claims about technical issues
- Requesting refunds after extracting significant value from the Software
Users who abuse the refund policy may be permanently banned from purchasing Artalyx.
10. Chargebacks
10.1 Contact Us First
Before initiating a chargeback with your credit card company or payment provider, please contact us at info@artalyx.app. We are committed to resolving billing disputes fairly and quickly.
10.2 Chargeback Consequences
If you initiate a chargeback:
- Your license will be immediately terminated
- Your account will be permanently closed
- You will be banned from future purchases
- We may dispute the chargeback and provide evidence to your payment provider
- Chargeback fees may be added to amounts owed
11. Taxes and Fees
Refunds are processed for the full amount you paid, including any applicable taxes. However:
- Payment processing fees (charged by Stripe) are non-refundable
- Currency conversion fees are non-refundable
- Taxes may not be refundable depending on your jurisdiction
12. Geographic Variations
12.1 Consumer Protection Laws
This Refund Policy is subject to applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If your local laws provide greater refund rights than stated here, those laws will govern.
12.2 European Union
If you are located in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. This is separate from and in addition to our 30-day money-back guarantee.

If you are located in Australia, nothing in this policy limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, representations, or conditions that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
