- Royalty calculations and payment tracking
- Manufacturer and vendor management
- Tour and venue coordination
- Prospect pipeline for A&R
Use Case: “I’ve got 8 artists signed. I need to track who’s owed what, which releases are coming up, and who I’m talking to about signing next. I don’t do PR for other labels—just my own artists.”
PROMOTIONS MODE
Who It’s For: PR companies and music promoters working with multiple clients
What You Get: Run campaigns for artists and labels who hire you for promotion. Massive contact database for media outlets, pitch tracking with automated follow-ups, coverage reporting, and client-facing dashboards. Built for agencies doing promotional work.

- Media coverage tracking and reporting
- Playlist submission management
- Client portal for transparency
Use Case: “I run PR campaigns for 5-10 artists at a time. I need to track which blogs I’ve pitched, who opened the email, and when to follow up. My clients want reports showing where they’re getting coverage.”
FULL MODE
Who It’s For: Full-service music companies running both label operations AND promotional services
What You Get: Everything. Manage your signed artists with full label tools, AND run promotional campaigns for outside clients. Handle royalties for your roster while pitching other people’s releases to media. This is for businesses doing it all.

- Everything from Label Mode
- Everything from Promotions Mode
- Integrated client and artist management
- Combined reporting and analytics

FAQ
Everything you need to know about Artalyx.
Do I need to know WordPress?
Nope. If you can use Gmail or Spotify, you can use Artalyx. We handle all the technical stuff—you just install the plugin and start managing your business. Most people are up and running in under 10 minutes.
What’s the difference between the three modes?
- Label Mode: For running a record label (artists, releases, royalties, contracts)
- Promotions Mode: For PR agencies (client campaigns, media pitching, coverage tracking)
- Full Mode: Both combined—for labels that also do promo work or agencies that release their own music
You can switch modes anytime. Most people start with Full Mode and customize from there.
Can my team use this?
Yes. Pro, Business and Enterprise plans support multiple team members with different permission levels. Set up roles like Admin, Manager, Artist, and Client—each sees only what they need.
What if I need help?
Starter plan gets community support (forums, “coming soon”). Starter and above get email support (24-48 hour response). Enterprise gets priority email, phone support, and a dedicated account manager. Plus there’s a full user manual and video tutorials.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
It stays in your WordPress installation forever. Artalyx is a plugin, not a cloud service—your data lives on YOUR server. Export everything to CSV before you cancel if you want backups elsewhere.
Common Questions
Can I import my existing data?
Yes. Import artists, contacts, and releases from CSV files (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.). We support bulk imports so you don’t have to manually enter hundreds of contacts. Export is just as easy if you ever want to leave.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Artist Edition is free forever (1 artist, 3 campaigns, 100 contacts). Try it, and if it doesn’t work for you, just deactivate it from your WordPress plugins and delete it..
Does this work with my existing WordPress site?
Yes, if you have WordPress. But you don’t need a public-facing website—many users install WordPress locally or on a private server just to run Artalyx. It’s your backend management system, not necessarily your public site.
Do you store my email password?
No. We use Gmail OAuth, which means you log in through Google’s secure system. We never see or store your password. Google confirms your identity, and you control access through your Google account settings.
If you choose the SMTP option instead, your SMTP password is stored in your own WordPress database on your own server—we have zero access to it. Your data stays on your infrastructure, not ours.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. All paid plans are annual subscriptions with no contracts. Cancel anytime and you’ll keep access until the end of your current billing year. If you cancel, you can always downgrade to the free Artist Edition to keep using basic features.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Not satisfied? Get a full refund within the first 30 days, no questions asked. After 30 days, we don’t prorate refunds for early cancellation.
